Cloth Face Mask
Here in Germany the lawmakers are just now starting to enforce wearing cloth face masks when out shopping or using public transportation as a precaution of spreading the Covid 19. But the problem is, there are hardly any masks available for the general public.
I found a tutorial on the website “Hello Sewing” and she gets the total credit for this project. As soon as I saw the project, I knew I wanted to give it a try. I just now finished my first mask as seen in the images below and am so pleased with the result. Her tutorial is not only very well written and easy to follow, she also has a Youtube video for this project, too. So if you do not understand something in the description, you can watch how she made it. She also has included instructions to make the tie strings so you do not even need a bias tape maker for this project. This turned out so nicely, that I will probably make more so I have a few extras when I need to wash my mask.
