Christmas and Winter Craft - Paper Napkin Applique - Winter Church Tree Slice Winter Decoration
This winter church in the valley has a serene and peaceful look to it. With a tree slice and a paper napkin with an appropriate motif on it you can create this decoration for your own home or to give as a gift for the holidays.
For this project you will need:
- tree slice - white acrylic paint - paper napkin with winter church motif - paper napkin applique glue - clear dimensional paint - snow paint / paste - iridescent glitter to sprinkle on the snow and the dimensional paint
Instructions:
1. First paint the top of the tree slice with white paint and let it dry. 2. Follow the Paper Napkin Applique Tutorial to apply the paper napkin onto the tree slice. 3. Once the paper napkin motif is dry, outline the details with the dimensional paint. Add dots to the sky to represent stars if you like. 4. Apply snow paint / snow paste to the areas where snow is found and sprinkle iridescent glitter onto the still wet snow for extra sparkle.
