Country Christmas Stocking

Stockings are much more easy to make than they look. The hardest part is really choosing which fabrics to use for it. This particular stocking has a primitive and country look to it and is completed within a few hours. For this project you will need:

- cotton beige fabric or homespun fabric
- patchwork fabric in red, green and beige check design
- iron on batting for extra thickness
- green glass beads
- beige button
- fusible web for applications
- sewing thread matching stocking color
- contrast sewing thread for hand stitching the appliques
- basic sewing supplies

Instructions:

Print out the stocking pattern so that it fits the whole sheet of paper. Increase the length to 42 centimers and create a template.
