Instructions:
1. First, select the paper and baubles you will be using to make your ornaments.
2. Then tear the paper into small 1-3 cm pieces. The smaller the pieces, the easier they are to work with for this project. Bigger pieces may cover more area but will wrinkle more when following the curve of the ball.
3. Use your brush and cover the inside of the first half with glue. Brush on the first piece of paper (with the pretty side facing down so that it will will look pretty on the outside of the ball) and then brush a coat of glue over it, too. Apply the next pieces one at at time, overlapping them some and also brush glue on each piece after adding it. Complete the first half and then repeat for the second half. Let the insides dry thoroughly before closing the ball.
4. Snap the two halves closed.
5. To embellish the ornament, cover and glue the seam with gold ribbon. Add a piece of ribbon to the hole at the top of the ball for hanging. If you like, create a simple bow and hot glue it onto the top to cover the hole.
