Christmas Crafts for Kids - Colorful Christmas Baubles

This project is fun and easy for small hands and each ball is unique. These look simply gorgeous hanging on a tree once the ornament is finished.

For this project you will need:
- round acrylic Christmas bauble in size of choice (this ball must be in 2 halves and can be snapped closed again) - translucent paper in many colors (they are so pretty when so colorful) - wallpaper glue or other glue that dries clear - paint brush
Ages 5 and older

Instructions:
1. Open up the ball and start with the first half. Tear the papers in many pieces of different sizes. 2. Apply glue to a small area inside the ball half. Place the first piece of paper on the glued area and brush glue over the paper. Apply glue to the ball again and then add the next piece of paper, overlapping a bit over the first piece. Brush glue on that piece of paper to cover it. Continue in this manner until the ball half is completely covered. Set aside to dry and do this procedure with the second ball half. 3. Once the second half is finished and both halves are completely dry, you can snap the ball closed. Match the plastic hanging ring. Tie a ribbon through that ring and knot.
