Fabric and Sewing Craft for Halloween - Black Cat Goodie Bag
This bag is so easy to make and can be used for many purposes! You can fill it with cotton and use it as a table decoration for Halloween or you can make small gift bags put Halloween favors in or you can even sew on handles and make treat-or-treat bags for your kids! Because of the way it is sewn, it can stand on its own. The basic sewing instructions are the same for all types of bags. You may also vary the size of the fabric according to your needs.

Materials needed:
- 2 pieces of orange fabric measuring 30 cm x 19 cm
(12” x 7.6”) This size is for the sack shown in the picture.
- Black felt
- Fusible web
- Basic sewing supplies
- Green satin ribbon

Sewing Instructions:
1.Follow the basic sewing instructions listed below but instead cut 3 cm squares from the bottom corners.
2 Follow the instructions for using fusible web. Trace the cat pattern onto the fusible web, fuse it to the black felt, cut out and iron the cat on to the bag.
3. Stop at step 12. Instead of pulling a cording through the top of the bag (of course you may do this if you wish) you can simply hem a seam on the top of the bag and tie the bag off with a green ribbon as seen in the picture.
