Christmas Card Gift Box
It is a shame to throw away those lovely cards we receive for Christmas. Many of them have such beautiful designs but after many years we tend to have too many collected cards and wonder what to do with them all. This recycling craft is one way to reuse them. With just a couple of simple folding lines and a couple of cuts, you can transform your Christmas cards into practical gift boxes that can be used to give small gifts for Christmas.

For this project you will need:
- used or new Christmas cards - stylus - ruler - scissors - and 4 small squares of double sided sticky tape

Instructions:
1. Cut out the front of the card on the fold and discard the other half. 2. Measure the length and height of the card. Cut out a piece of the cardstock about 1 mm smaller on each of the long and short ends of the cardstock. This will ensure that the top of the box fits perfectly on the bottom piece. 3. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the link below to make this box. You will do this for each half.
