Instructions: (Use the image above as a placement guide)
1. Using the e-clips machine, cut the image “Birds: Birdcage & Flowers #4” to a size of 90 high and 65 wide out of the green cardstock. Glue this to white cardstock that is just a bit larger in size than the motif itself. Adhere this then again on green cardstock and cut out a border of 5 mm around it. 2. Using the same sizes on the e-clips machine, cut pieces out of the bird and flower out of the grey card. Adhere these pieces then on the motif using 3-D foam pads. 3. Wrap a piece of ribbon onto the top quarter of the card and adhere the ends with tape on the inside of the cover. Create a pretty bow and tie it to the ribbon on the front of the card. 4. Cut a piece of white card that is just slightly smaller than the card itself and adhere it to the inside of the front cover to cover the ends of the ribbon. 5. Die cut “Happy Birthday” using the Sizzlit and adhere it then onto the card.

This card is made using the Sizzix e-clips machine and the Sizzix Big Shot. Not everyone has these machines nor these cartridges/dies but the card shows what you can do with cut motifs in general to create quick cards for all occasions.
