1. Select your motif. This sheet came from a calender with famous paintings.

2. Cut a strip measuring 6-7 cm wide and around 20 cm long. You may vary on the sizes as you wish.

3. Select a piece of cardstock that matches in color and cut it with a 1 cm margin on the sides and bottom and a 3 cm margin on the top. Glue your strip now centered on the cardstock.

4. Cut a piece of contact foil larger than your bookmarker. Remove the protective adhesive and now stick the foil wrinkle free onto the bookmark. Repeat the same step for the back side, too.

5. Punch a hole in the top center of the bookmarker.
|
|
|
6. Insert an eyelet in the hole.
|
|
|
7. This is how it looks once the first wall has been added.
|
|
|
8. Now knot the ribbon or raffia in the hole.
