Cheerful songbirds that sweeten our mornings with music embellish these wood slices and add a natural touch to your refrigerator or magnetic memo-board.
For these magnets we used:
- wood slices / branch slices - paper napkin with birds motifs - paper napkin applique glue - soft flat paint brush - self-adhesive magnets
This napkin has birds designed by Emma Bridgewater
Instructions for one magnet:
1. Cut out or tear out the particular motifs you wish to use for your wood slices. Then remove all but the top layer (the printed layer) of the napkin. 2. Choose a tree slice that best fits your motif and then place it onto the slice. Brush on a coat of glue over the motif using your flat and soft paint brush. The glue will soak through the napkin and adhere it to the wood slice. 3. Let the motif dry. 4. Adhere a magnet on the backside of the finished tree slice.
