Instructions:
1. Print out the patterns to the desired size. This birdhouse in the picture is the size of a normal piece of paper. Trace the patterns onto plywood. You need 4 flowers, 4 flower centers, 1 bird, 1 wing, 1 welcome sign, 1 birdhouse and 1 roof piece. 2. Saw out all of the required pieces and sand them smooth. 3. Paint pieces accordingly. Use the picture as a reference. When the pieces have been painted on both sides and are thoroughly dry, dry brush light brown on the edges of the light colored pieces for an aged look. 4. On the welcome sign, dry brush the edges with dark brown. 5. On the birdhouse, dry brush the edges with white. 6. Drill small holes on the bottom of the birdhouse and also on the top of the welcome sign just under the birdhouse holes. Drill a small hole at the bottom of the welcome sign. Drill a hole also in the top of the birdhouse. Drill a hole in one of the flowers. 7. Using the wire, attach the welcome sign to the birdhouse. Write “Welcome” on the sign. 8. Glue the flower centers onto the flowers and let thoroughly dry.. 9. Curl a piece of wire about 6 inches long and attach it to a flower and hang it from the welcome sign. 10. Glue the pieces onto the birdhouse and welcome sign as seen in the picture and let dry. 11. Using a hot glue gun, glue an ivy piece onto the birdhouse. 12. Use a piece of cord to hang the house up.
