Instructions:
1. Take all 4 lengths of waxed cotton cord and pull them through the large bead. Knot all four pieces of cord together on both sides of the large bead. (see example 1 below) 2. Starting on either side of the large bead, divide the cotton in two sections (each section has two pieces of cord). Follow the chart to the left. The first section of 2 cords coming out of the large knot consists of a small knot, 3 beads and then again a small knot. The second section coming out of the large knot consists of a small knot, a bead, a small knot, a bead, a small knot, a bead and then again a small knot. Once both sections are finished, all 4 cords will be knotted together. You will continue in this manner until you reach the length you desire on the one side. 3. Now repeat step 2 for the other side. 4. Once both sides are completed knot all 4 cords together on each side. Cut away loose ends. Add glue to the insides of both cap pieces and insert the knotted ends into these caps. Let the glue dry completely.
Beading Chart - this shows you one section between a point where all 4 cords are knotted together to the next point.
