Christmas Crafts - Paper Crafts - Paper Pouch Advent Calender There are many types of advent calenders and this particular type of calender is quick and very inexpensive to make. When you have finished making the pouches, you can put them into a decorative Christmas basket or maybe hang them on a garland or on a wreath. They are a decoration in themselves. You can fill them with candy or very small inexpensive gifts. Or even have a little note in each pouch with a promise of a fun activity you and your child will do together during the holiday season. The time in December until Christmas seems so long for children! To help the waiting time seem a little shorter, you can make them an advent calender. The calender is sort of a countdown to Christmas.
