Winter Village Christmas Ornament

This ornament would look lovely hanging on the Christmas tree or as a decoration to hang freely in a room or window. The soft colors give it a feeling of a quiet winter’s night and the technique to create this is very simple.

For this project you will need:

- acrylic ball 12 cm in diameter with 2 halves
- paper napkin with a winter motif that fits in the ball or choice of 3-D paper motifs
- styrofoam piece about 3 mm thick
- 3-D pads
- scissors
- napkin applique or decoupage glue
- fusible web
- iron
- white cardstock
- transparent sheer ribbon matching the motif
- thin satin ribbon for hanging

Tip:
Vary the motif and change the colors of the ribbons and you can create lots of different ornaments to give as gifts.
