Wood Crafts for Valentine's Day - Wooden Heart with Scrapbook Paper

Instructions:

Free Templates: Country Heart

1. Print the template out and trace the shape onto the plywood.
2. Saw the heart out.
3. Cover the heart with paper napkin applique glue and press the wrong side of the paper onto the glue. Smoothen the paper so that there are no bubbles and let the glue dry.
4. Once the glue is dry, cut around the heart shape carefully with a craft knife or scissors.
5. Drill 2 holes in the top of the heart and insert a wire. Coil in the front to secure the wire.
6. Form a bow with the ribbon and hot glue it to the front of your heart.
7. You may of course repeat the above steps for the backside so that both sides look finished.
8. Paint the edge of the heart with a coordinating color of paint.
