Continue reading this page and the following two pages for more ideas of how to decorate the coasters.
This is the cover page. The Cuttlebug machine with hearts folder were used to emboss the textured cardstock. The paper was adhered to the round coaster. This booklet was for a graduation. The year 2009 and the flowers were created using Sizzix dies.
Striped scrapbook paper first adorned this page. Then half of the page was covered with textured cardstock. The first sentiment was printed out and adhered to an appropriate colored piece of cardstock. A piece of 3-D foam tape was used to adhere the sentiment. The leaf is a Sizzix die cut and was embellished with clear 3-D dimensional paint and adhered with 3-D foam tape to give it an even more raised look.
A Cuttlebug embossing folder was used to create the background of the turquoise colored textured cardstock. This was adhered to the coaster and then half covered using another page of scrapbooking paper. A shaker element was created and used as a special effect once the sentiment was attatched to the card.
A striped piece of scrapbook paper covered this coaster and then was half decked with turquoise cardstock. Since money was a part of the gift, an envelope was created in coodinating colors and adhered to the coaster.
Two coordinating papers adorned this coaster and the seam was covered using a matching piece of ribbon. After the sentiment was printed out and attached, a piece of the same ribbon was used to create a bow to embellish the top of the sentiment and a half pearl in matching color was glued to the bottom corner.
