Spring and Easter Craft Projects - Decorative Votive Candle Glass Cover Before you throw away that next glass jar or any plain glass container, consider using it to make these attractive table decorations. It is a great recycling craft and very quick and easy to do. Within a matter of minutes you already will have this project completed. It is a good idea also for those who are having get togethers or parties and need fast and inexpensive yet pretty table decorations. Supplies needed: - A roll of transparent paper or vellum with   decorative pattern or color to match your   decor (the piece should measure at least   50cm or 20 inches x height of glass plus   1-2 cm extra height) - scissors - clear double sided self adhesive tape - glass such as a drinking glass, jam or   jelly glass, mustard glass or any other   suitable glass that is wide enough to   hold a tea light Caution is always advised when using candles and tea lights. Please do not leave a room with lit candles. Instructions: 1. Cut the piece of transparent paper out to the recommended size. 2. Fan fold (pleat fold) the short side about 1.5 cm width and continue folding until you reach the end. 3. Place a strip of the double sided tape on the first pleat and stick it to the end of the last pleat. You may have to cut away one pleat if necessary if the beginning and end do not match correctly.
