Illustrated Craft Tutorial - About the Cuttlebug Embossing and Die Cutting Machine

The Cuttlebug is a versatile cutting and embossing machine and is useful for scrapbooking, paper crafts and card crafts.

Cuttlebug Machine 1

1. This is how the Cuttlebug looks. This is the closed position and is small and compact for easy storage.

Cuttlebug Machine 2

2. Opened, the Cuttlebug has a tray for processing the embossing folders or die cuts. When opening both trays, the Cuttlebug adheres to the table to make it stable when using.

Cuttlebug A, B and C Plates

3. The Cuttlebug comes with 3 processing plates. Depending on what you are embossing or cutting, you will need 2 or more of these plates. The “A” plate is the thickest and the “B” plate the thinnest of the three.

Cuttlebug Embossing Folders

4. These are two examples of the very large selection of Cuttlebug embossing folders. The larger folder is great for making background embossing and the smaller version is perfect for gift tags and also for embossing small messages.

5. Each folder opens and you will place the paper inside. Inside you will notice a positive and negative print. This will guarantee a quality embossed image once you have processed the folder through the machine.
