Delicious Cupcakes Birthday Card

With a paper napkin, contact paper, stick glue and card you can create embellishments with them to use for birthday cards such as one such as this one.

For this card you will need:

- white 13.5 x 13.5 cm square card
- paper napkin with cupcakes (the napkin used for this project had a total of 9 different cupcakes on each quarter which gives
  you a total of 36 cupcakes you can use for your cards
- light brown, dark brown and white card
- border punch with scallops
- “Happy Birthday” peel-off sticker
- brown sticker pen or brown permanent pen
- stick glue
- clear contact paper
- sequins or half beads to embellish the
  cupcakes
- jewel glue
- 3-D foam tape
- scissors
- ruler

This is an example of the napkin used for this project

Instructions:

1. Cut three 4 cm squares as well as a 1.8 centimeter x 10.2 cm centimeter rectangle out of white card.
.
2. Cut three 3.5 centimeter squares out of light brown card.
3. Cut one dark brown 2.2 centimeter x 10.6 centimeter rectangle strip, one dark brown 0.4 centimeter x 13.5 centimeter strip and one dark brown 5.4 centimeter x 13.5 centimeter rectangle (the finished size with the scallops) out.
4. Glue first the white squares centered onto the scalloped rectangle.
5. Use 3-D foam tape and stick the 3 light brown squares centered onto the white ones.
6. Now adhere the thin 0.4 centimeter strip across the top of the card.
7. Color the peel-off sticker brown and then adhere it to the white rectangle. Then adhere the same rectangle onto the dark brown rectangle strip. Then glue this over the thin strip across the card.
8. Now adhere contact paper to the front of 3 cupcake motifs. Cut these out (they do not have to be exactly cut out just yet. Now use stick glue and glue the backsides of the napkin motifs onto white card. Now you can cut them exactly out.
9. Glue the cupcakes onto the light brown squares and embellish them with the sequins and beads if you like.
