Beaded Earrings 1

With all of the fantastic looking beads available these days, jewelry making has become so much fun. Once you have the few basic items needed, you can already get started. Earrings are really fun to make because the time it takes to complete them is minimum. Not only do they make a wonderful gift for a friend, you can make many pairs for yourself to match all of the clothes in your wardrobe. This particular technique is uncomplicated and can be varied just by changing the types and colors of beads. There is no limit to the possibilites. This particular craft is also a fashionable and inexpensive idea for teens to make.

For this project you will need:

- one pair of silver earring hooks
- one pack of at least 50 silver crimping beads
- 30-40 matching color combination of 4-6 mm glass beads, 8/0 size seed beads and 4-6 mm acrylic beads of  choice (here
  shades of green, crystal and brown were chosen)
- small flat pliers
- 1 roll of perlon string 0.40 mm thick
