Summer Crafts for Kids - Paper Crafts - Preschool Craft Ideas - Beads and Noodles Necklace Ages 4 and older Small kids like to play pretend and they also love to craft! This project is very easy and inexpensive and involves both of these activities. It is also fun for kids to experiment with different types of noodles and various colors of beads Supplies needed: - Maccaroni noodles - wooden beads measuring 1 cm in color of   choice - nylon thread - scissors     Instructions: 1. Cut a long piece of the nylon thread and double it. 2. Take the 2 ends and go through one of the beads and pull it through the hole. 3. Pull the thread through the loop formed by the thread and pull to tighten. This will hold the first bead and keep it from falling. 4. Thread both ends through a noodle and then a bead again. 5. Continue this pattern until the desired length is achieved. 6. Take the 2 ends and tie them to the loop of the first bead and knot the ends tightly to the loop.
