Greeting Card for the Birth of a Baby Boy - Rubber Stamping and Embossing - Blue Baby Boy Card with Embossed Images

This card is really fast and easy to make using foam stamps. The soft colors of pastel blue and white are perfect for that special new baby boy. The stamped images are large and look great when embossed. This particular card is of course for a boy but you can change the colors and word “BOY” to “GIRL” to make the same for a baby girl as well.

Instructions: (Use picture as placement example)

1. Cut out three 1 1/2 inch blue circles using the Shape Boss Template and circle cutter. Stamp 3 chosen images onto these circles. Add embossing powder to the stamped images and heat emboss.
2. Cut out three 2 inch white circles using the Shape Boss template and circle cutter.
3. Use 3-D foam tape and adhere the blue circles off centered to the white circles.
4. Punch the wod “BOY” out of the blue cardstock.
5. Punch three small 1 cm circles out of the white cardstock. Adhere the alphabet letters off center to the circles.
6. Cut a piece of blue cardstock out that measures 19 cm x 9 cm. Use a small amount of stick glue and adhere this rectangle centered onto the card. Punch a small hole in all 4 corners through the blue cardstock and also through the card cover. Insert the brads and fasten them on the inside of the front cover.
